Strategic Investments

We need to look into new ways to invest in our community.  We need to make it easier to access funds for things like housing, health care, cultural outreach, connectivity, and for the promotion and general beautification of Alderville. We need a safe community that can be enjoyed by all.

Communication/Transparency

It is important for members to be fully aware of all decisions and commitments made by Band Council in a timely fashion.  We need to utilize modern technology to live-stream Council meetings to members both on and off reserve.  This would improve clarity, provide for more accountability, and provide for more insight from our members.

Indigenous Rights

Alderville needs to assert our Treaty and Aboriginal Rights (Jurisdictional Arbitrage) to allow for more meaningful control over our own lands and economy.

Opportunity for all

I would like to work with economic development to look for opportunities to ensure the long term benefits of living in our community and to draw people back to Alderville.  We need to improve opportunities for our youth, elders and the future generations yet to come.
