Know more about Rob

Aaniin, ndizhnicaaz Rob Stevenson.

I belong to the Bear Clan of the Anishinaabe people. I have been a member and resident of Alderville for 35+ years. I am married and the proud father of two boys.

Born into a family of successful entrepreneurs and Indigenous political leaders, I have always been inspired to create opportunity and to solve problems.

I began building businesses at a young age. For the past four years, I have been dedicated to building a for-profit social enterprise focused on wellness and on improving Indigenous sovereignty and reconciliation between Indigenous people and non-Indigenous Canadians. The core philosophy of this business is based on the Medicine Wheel teachings – specifically, mind, body, spirit, emotion, and how everything is interconnected.

I am a good listener, non judgemental, and I have a genuine interest in helping people of all backgrounds.

“If you have it in you to dream, you have it in you to succeed.”

Alwyn Morris, Indigenous Olympian.

More Opportunities

As an entrepreneur, I believe in making opportunities for all.

Economic Growth

I want to invest Alderville's money to make more money for the people of Alderville.

Indigenous Rights

We need to affirm our constitutionally protected rights and "jurisdictional arbitrage."

Rob Stevenson and his parents Glen and Charlene.
